Therefore, there are certain technical requirements for the terminal materials and the smoothness of the external surface.
Requirements for power equipment of wiring terminal
1. In terms of metal material selection, it shall be made of aluminum or aluminum alloy, copper or copper alloy with good conductivity, or other suitable materials. On the basis of good conductivity and lower energy consumption, the mechanical strength shall also meet the technical requirements of the equipment.
2. In terms of the appearance of the wiring terminal, the contact surface shall be clean and free of cracks, obvious scars, burrs, corrosion spots, concave convex defects and other defects affecting the electrical contact and mechanical strength.
In addition, the contact surface and connection hole of the cast wiring terminal shall be free of air holes, sand holes, cracks and other defects. In addition, the connection surface of the terminal shall be flat, and the connection orifice shall be free of burrs.
Precautions: burrs on the terminal surface and at the connection port are common problems of poor quality terminals, which should be carefully checked when purchasing terminals to avoid affecting the operation of the equipment after use.
3. When the ambient temperature is 10 ℃ to 40 ℃, the temperature rise value of the wiring terminal shall not exceed the provisions of the corresponding equipment standards. Due to the different operating environment of each high-voltage equipment, the allowable temperature rise value of the wiring terminal is also different. When the equipment leaves the factory, the wiring terminal shall be equipped with supporting fasteners for boundary, such as nuts, bolts, washers, etc. It shall be provided with locking design. It is recommended to use a large wrench to tighten the electronic connection between equipment terminals or between equipment terminals and high-voltage power system.
